Finale Weekend
The Outdoor Finale Weekend Event will be taking place on St Peter’s Street and down to the Market Place and the Town Hall on Sunday 5th July. This is one Festival event not to be missed!
Expect to see your favourite local restaurants serving and sampling food, chef demonstrations, foodie activities, Farmer’s Markets and 2 live music stages courtesy of FUZE Music Festival. You can even make your own smoothie using our specially built Smoothie-Bike!
After the success of last year, the Festival Wine Tasting will now take place over both days, once again in the Town Hall. There will also be an Artisan Fair inside the Town Hall too.
On Sunday 5th July, the Food and Drink Festival Outdoor Event will happen alongside the St Albans Festival’s FUZE World Music Day. With live music programmed on the stage all day, restaurants serving and sampling food and chef demos; the Festival will take over St Peter’s Street, Market Place and of course the Town Hall.

The Big Festival Wine Tasting & Artisan Producers Fair
11am-5pm, £3 for tasting card
The Festival Wine Tasting in the Town Hall will this year take place over the whole weekend.
Producers from all over the world will be visiting St Albans to talk guests through their wines face to face, whilst experts will also be on hand from local wine merchant Cellar Door Wines to guide you through the dozens of fabulous wines on offer. The Town Hall will also be taken over by Artisan Producers bringing you breads, cakes, cheeses and more!
Local Restaurants
11am-8pm
Some of St Albans local restaurants will be on site transforming the area into an outdoor food court. They’ll be plenty to choose from and you’ll be able to sit down, relax and enjoy the atmosphere in the seating area.
Carluccios
Antonio Carluccio’s fresh and delicious authentic food will be on offer. He will be serving up Risotto and Sausage sandwiches throughout the day.
Kashu
Eat like a King with St Albans newest restaurant who will be serving a delicious hog roast.
The Portland Arms
The truly traditional English pub will have some fresh homemade dishes including the chef’s mum’s homemade pate and Portland new roast potatoes.
Lussmanns
St Albans favourite fish grill restaurant will have Bedfordshire marinated lamb wraps and Riverford organic strawberries and cream.
The Stable Door
Tapas bar and Restaurant from Welwyn will be serving their famous paella.

Festival Kitchen Theatre
11am - 6pm, Free Entry
Local chefs will be demonstrating their skills over the Festival demonstration kitchen theatre over the weekend, make sure you pop along to pick up some tips… And keep your eyes peeled for special guests.

11am - We start the programme with Faisal Maniar from The Albany on George Street will be demonstrating how to create your own vanilla ice cream with honeycomb.
12pm - Romaine Lacaille, Michelin trained chef, at The Portland Arms will be cooking up a Chicken Supreme stuffed with tapenade, served with roast new potatoes and sun dried tomatoes.
1pm - Andrei Lussmann and the Lussmanns team from St Albans favourite fish and grill restaurant cook up some treats from their delicious menu.
2pm - Chad Rahman, the multi award-winning chef from the fabulous Chez Mumtaj on London Road visits our demo kitchen to give us an insight into his modern French-Asian dining.
3pm - Mokoko head barman Roberto Fiorillo, one of Hertfordshire’s most talented mixologists will be giving a cocktail master class and demonstrating his bar skills.
5pm - Phil Houlhan, Head Chef at The Amble Inn in Harpenden will be popping down to whip up a fantastic seasonal dish.
6pm - Chef Duo Alex Elliot and Nick Smith from The Peahen will be cooking Sea bass and rock samphire served with clams tossed with Spanish chirizo, topped with a white wine foam.
